SO, WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO POST TO SOCIAL?
The time you post on your social media matters! It’s important you post when your followers are most active, as it increases the chances of them seeing it, otherwise it just gets lost in their feed. But how do you know what are the best times to post?
Using Your Customer Personas...
Customer personas can provide you with a clear understanding of customer opinions, motivations, and behaviours. If you have a clear idea of who your target audience is, you should be able to deduce what times to avoid posting, and what times they’re most likely to be on social media.
For example: if your target audience works a 9 to 5 job, then it’s most likely that their free time to go on social media would be in the evenings, perhaps after dinner.

Using Your IG Insights...
Instagram provides business accounts with insights to their page and followers. If you have 100 followers or more, you can access more in-depth insights to your followers including what times they are most active on each day of the week. Follow the steps below to see where you can find them on your Instagram.
*You must be a business account with 100 followers to gain access to your IG follower insights.
Going Live on IG...
A quick trick is to go live on IG, as it shows you how many of your followers are active at that time! You don’t even have to actually go live, just go on ‘Live’ when creating an Instagram story. It should look like the image below:
Now that you have an idea of what time you should be posting, it’s best you schedule your posts so they’re all ready to go!
